Some thoughts about the items on sell on the mog station

I definitely wish all Mogstation items were account-wide. Or at least be consistent with cost, the moonfire dance is $3 but the newer emotes are $7 or $12 for whatever reason. And have the event food items and furniture at least be craftable via special master craftsmen jobs.

Though, I am glad they didn’t go the ESO route and have new mounts locked behind RNG loot boxes.

Prior event emotes are cheaper than mog-only emotes. Not excusing the cost, that's just the difference.

My main problem with the cash shop is that glamour gear from it can't be stored in the armoire. I have a lot of outfits I don't wear anymore (or at least don't wear frequently) that only take up space, but I can't just get rid of them because then I'll have wasted money.

Which ones can't? I bought 3 items and all of them go in the armoire and all are past event items. I would imagine that if you destroyed them they would be on the calamity salvager, but I wouldn't bet on it.

And to then see stuff like the Whale mount, nice glamour items on the mogstation is just ridiculous. Sometimes I feel they put in more effort for the mogstation items than the ones available in the game. It sure looks that way.

From what I can guess it's that event item glamor can go in the armoire and "pure" cash shop items (like the Eastern lady outfit) can't. I really wish we could store more items in the armoire, i.e. all AF armor pices.

I feel like that too. SB was an horrible expansion for the glamour/gear/mount... Also, the 3rd expansion is about to come out, and I bet that SE won't give more free retainers. It's still the same amount than when 2.x where here, but with a lots more items in the game.

Yes they did increase a little bit the inventory and gave 1 sadlebag (2nd one, take out your money!), but instead of adding extra retainers that you have to pay, I feels like they should give at least one more free retainer per expansion. Back in 2.x, we could buy 3 more retainers, it was not that bad for the price, I hated it already, but ok. Now it's like 7 extras retainers + the app one, it's more than the basic subscription fees.

And again, if you don't craft and doesn't need space, or if you don't keep glamour on your retainer or housing items, that's cool for you, but some people do need that space, and the price to get that space is now ridiculous.

I saw Cloud's bike from close range and... well, looks like a dirty copy-past. I wouldn't pay for textures that bad. And I feel the bike would need at least some kind of transformation as it is for the coming Regalia. The flying bike as it is, thanks SE but I will pass.

Or when mount is just a color shift...

This game has a textures and clipping problem and items from mog station are no exceptions.

SE is really nickel and diming us. I can understand the comedic items but charging extra for items like retains is disgusting. There is no reason we should be charged extra money for storage. If they are concerned about the MB postings then redo that system and only allow so many items posted from an account.

Extra retainers should be bought in-game with some in-game currency of sorts.

And SE strikes again, 2 new emotes that would fit to the little ladies day got added right into your cash shop 7$ each.

I still think its rude to put things like that straight into the cash shop while your event rewards are just not even worth the event. People even skip them cause they dont want your junk.
But hey thanks for the meaningless NPC event texts and your effort.

I've seen a few claims that these dances were from either the Chinese or the Korean version of the game...

if those claims are true, we would never have gotten these for free.
If those claims are true we would always have had to pay for them because those regions had to pay for them.
