And then the moment you don't have access to the device that has your security token, you can't do anything at all. We should be able to pick our computer/device that's registered as safe and not have to jump through another hoop to log in. It's never been an issue when logged into their online shop to buy expacs/ect before, so why the hell is it now, and why are people so ok with just going 'security token lol'? Good for you for not having issues with it. People can lose their devices, or even get new ones and have issues with the token where they've had to jump through hoops. I've had issues with security tokens in the past, and I hate using them. There SHOULD be a way of people being able to label one device as safe or whatever, more so when they're throwing money at a big company just to preorder a damn expansion.

Security tokens you have to pay for now if you're getting a physical one. 10 bucks plus S&H depending on where you are. Only when I decided to order merch from the SE store about 5 months ago did I get slammed with said problems when I never had them before. Then again it did start when they had overall maintenance and I tried to login to the mogstation to get to the lodestone, and said my ID and password did not exist.

You always had to pay for the physical one, or it came with the collectors editions of both 1.0 and 2.0.
