^ bad example re-raise is NOT in ffxiv and when u are all dead u insta port out of the instance. On a side note the fight is so easy as long as you dont' fall asleep its a win. It was tough in the very beginning but with basic strategy and a decent point man to call out things during the fight its hard to loose.

Ifrit was very demanding moogles are more of a coordination fight, I think the weapon rewards match the fights where Ifrit weapons are still #1. If the void zones in ifrit were more randomized Ifrit would still be very challenging to everyone but the most seasoned MMO players.

Well, my theory is this... the king casts his huge aoe wipe move, and if you don't have stoneskin and sentinel, you die. I think you're intended to wipe at that point. So, until a rep confirms it's not working as intended.... who's to say it isn't?

I gotta admit I used that exploit where the moogle loses HP when hit by a Thunder spell.

Still couldn't win the fight, guess I should try the Thundara exploit!

I personally don't see it as THAT much of an exploit.. for god's sake the Moogle king himself rez's his whole party once he 2hrs.. why shouldn't we?

for the same reason people make a stink about the faction NM exploit

and the same people of course defend it(those who use it)


now i havent bothered with moogle yet, and correct me if im wrong, but my understanding is this

people are using a zombie tactic, which lets them die, and continue the fight, BUT not everything agros them when they restart it? Thus letting them pick and choose targets til the fight is done

if this is the case, its an exploit, and there is no ifs ands or butts about it


if they still have to immediately re-engage everything, its not an exploit, its just a zombie tactic that many games use
