I'm pretty sure they were saying they were in Voice Chat. That would explain the lack of responses. When I'm in VC, I tend not to look at the chat window as much. Doesn't excuse that behavior but yeah.

Why do people in MSQ insist on sprinting through the whole thing even when there are sprouts who don't know mechanics or where to go?

Was levelling up my DRK in MSQ roulette and popped Praetorium.
I'm not here to complain about my time in there even though I had to basically use a crowbar to get the aggro away from the SAM and Eos during a few of the fights (even with unmend, provoke, unleash and ultimatum I still couldn't get it off Eos. It took a few aggro combos and another few unleashes to do that.)
That didn't bother me as much...

It was the fact that 2 sprouts and their mentor got left behind during both lifts because the SAM from Gilgamesh was sprinting through the entire thing. When they said "You left 3 people behind" he said "u b ok". This meant that the sprouts got to experience the section where you ride the Magitek Armour on foot because they obviously weren't in the lift.
I typed "Even if they'll be ok, they are experiencing this for the first time. Don't ruin their moment."
His reply? "they r slow"

I understand it's the Praetorium... but two people were new to the dungeon. They didn't get to experience the dungeon as it was meant to be viewed you ass!

At the end of it all after Lahabrea was defeated, he said "see, u b ok. next time dun b slow"

Well, "speedster", you've just sped your way onto my ever growing blacklist.

I am tired of seeing people who are so inconsiderate towards others in their own party. I don't care if it's PF or DF, you'll be on my blacklist if you be an ass to anyone else in the party.
55 mins in a dungeon that can't be skipped. If you didn't want to be so long in there, don't queue for it.

To those sprouts, if you read this, I'll run it with you again. Dont mind if I have to do it unsynced with you.

I'm guessing that people who have run these dungeons over and over again just want to get them done asap. But, as I've said before, if you insist on a speed run you should preform a group for it, because you never know who you're gonna get in a roulette.

I once had a DPS fly off the handle in Sohm Al normal, saying 'maybe watch a speed run video' and leave when I was tanking it. This was back when I was still fairly new at tanking and I believe still leveling in HW. IE I wasn't at the point where I regularly did big pulls yet as I do in most dungeon runs now, provided the healer's fine with it and the dps are aoeing. Healer told me not to listen to him and we continued on just fine once we got another dps. Some people are just super impatient I guess.

The Aery is legit the only dungeon I've failed by time out. It was back in the days of HW, mind but the group I PiP'd into had been there for a while and the the whole party except me was new to the dungeon. And at that time I didn't know how to Bard properly so Sable Price was pretty much a ko to whoever got it and the one time we got past the ad phase, the healer failed to realize that they had to keep Estinen healed for the rest of the fight and he ate too many aoes. Needless to say it was a sad day for Leveling roulette.

I'm guessing that people who have run these dungeons over and over again just want to get them done asap. But, as I've said before, if you insist on a speed run you should preform a group for it, because you never know who you're gonna get in a roulette.

And if you insist on a slow run, you should preform a group for it too. If youre in the roulette, you should be able and willing to adjust your play to match the group you end up with. Most groups that means fast, but sometimes its slow.

Nothing, NOTHING makes me more angry then leaving people at the lift. That is just a dick move. You can run ahead for the rest of it but if you do that (with the lift), you are a troll. You know exactly what you are getting into when you que for MSQ, unlike spouts who are doing this for the first time. There is no speedrun for MSQ anymore and if you have someone using the disconnect glitch and pulling before the group can get there, Report. There's plenty of other roulettes that give the same if lesser benefits. Those duties are major events that define the players experience for the rest of the game and the entire reason you cant even skip in a fully preformed party now is because of all the callous speedrunning. Ug.

Beside that tho he didn't put a single dot on any of the mobs or use painflare(which im sure is available before 60 iirc).

I wish the SMN was legit afk cuz what he was doing during actual gameplay was less than what an afk player can do to be honest

Yeah, Painflare is available there, as is Tri-Disaster (if level 56). The only HW-actions that are missing are Dreadwyrm Trance and Deathflare. So... the guy was just Ruin spamming the whole way? URGH, that's horrible.

In the year and a half I've been playing I've literally only done the Praetorium once in its entirety for the story, and this is because the second time I tried it for the MSQ roulette I was still very new and I got ditched at the elevator, got lost because I didn't remember what to do, didn't yet know I could probably use Return to go to the start and take the shortcut to catch up, and basically was ignored by the party when I tried to ask for help. In the end I got stressed and left the instance, and never tried MSQ Roulette ever again from that point on.

I'd give this healer some slack tho considering that they were knew,but you'd be surprised how many healers I met on the Aerys before the instance I mentioned where they don't even realize Estinien is there xD

Gee,its like the Eye he has is the only reason we could fight nidhogg in the first place and that when he hits the floor nidhogg barbeque us to kingdom come(or Ishgardcome in this case ) xD

Would've managed to salvage something of it if those ruin spams were targetting the traps for once but nah he kept tickling nidhogg's tummy for 3 pulls before he left

And tbh this would've been the one time I'd make a vote kick but alas I wasn't the party leader at the time
