why would anyone start over to get them? not getting why they are hypocrites

because they are taking up for those achievements stating the people that had already put in the work doesn't deserve them. well you did the work to get the dow/dom/monsters killed/dungeons completed/quests done/nm's slayed so starting the game from scratch would allow you to get those again. there's no difference between completing one already and completing the other. supporting one without doing the other is hypocritical.

personaly, i was ready to start them all from scratch, hell i expected it

was kinda glad i didnt have to, but im willing to do what i gotta do to get them all

i'm not saying that people that got their 50's achievements and stuff wasn't a good thing. all i am saying is it wouldn't have been hard to either put like the achievements from now forwards.

they could have reset the number of mobs killed, needing to get the nodes again, need to do the quests again, or they could have even made the achievement itself only trigger if you did that after they went into place.

it's not much of an accomplishment i felt when i talked to the npc to unlock the achievements and then turned around and spoke to him the second time and was given every achievement in that section.

my problem is not that i have to redo the crafting and gathering to get those, but it is the balance it has. some get given freely without having to redo the work and others you have to work for again. they should ALL be one way or the other.

What I'm trying to do is cross class these.

Maple is Grade 1 for Black Shroud and also tier one for the Carpentry achievement. Ash is Tier II gathering in La Noscea and Tier II for Carpentry. Walnut is Tier III for La Noscea and Tier III for Carpentry.

I've run into a bit of a hitch with the next Tier tho. Carpentry should be Oak Logs, but there are no Oak logs for Grade 4 Nodes so that kinda sucks. I'll just get the Grade 5 for Black Shroud by logging Oak in Treespeak, get the Carpentry IV achievement and then move to Grade 5 Thanalan or La Noscea for the Carp 5 achievement and get my Saw. :3

i started at grade 1, then went to grade 2, now on grade 3 and so on

im also working on other stuff as i feel like doing something different(such as the smithing as i get mats to complete each one)

my gold is done to 20(ill do it to 30 when i have all the gems ill get from grade 3 mining) and my smithing and armor are done to 10 already(once i have enough iron ill do them to 20)

i have to do every achievment in the game anyway

im more after the end goal of doing everything more then the prizes at the end of each path, so the order doesnt matter to me

I suppose this is a good place to inquire how far anyone's been able to bump up their per-node gather attempts. Is the maximum 8 or can you push it to 9?

Can average 200 attempts on mining/botany per hour roughly, perhaps a little more with fortunate node positioning. 20+ hours for the 4000 achievements
