What animations would you change if you could?

Another one for male Elezen... the "logging out at the inn" animation. All my other characters just go to sleep; my Elezen seems to be striking a pose. >_<

...actually, add male Au Ras' weirdly rigid sleeping pose as well.


Both characters have perfectly normal sleeping positions using /doze, so I really don't know what happened with the logout animations.

My first move would be to decouple weapon stances with gender. Really no reason to lock weapon stances behind gender.

Next I would fix Male Miqo'te hands/fingers.

Most battle poses are based on past Finsl Fantasy Protagonists. The Female Paladin battle stance is based on Lightning's. It just probably looks odd since the weapons are different. See how it looks with the Blazefire Saber and no shield.

Are you referring to the /cpose where the sword is held like Lightning does in 13, or /battlestance which is the emote?

I am not sure if it is like this for all races and genders but it drives me absolutely apeschite that the index finger is longer than all the other fingers on my character. It makes her hands look disproportionately large; like she can rip a lobster in half with them. There's probably some reason why they did that, but that reason eludes me.

Midlander idle poses.
Catboy hands.
White mage sprinting animation.
Give Roegadyn DRG and WAR battle stances for all the races.
Deployment Tactics.
All the not-supposed-to-be-able-to-fly mounts having at least a more fluid flying animation instead of just walking on air.

There is actually a reason, or so I've heard. The WoL has larger than average hands so they can hold all weapons easily. I've noticed that all player characters do appear to have larger than average hands...and of course NPCs use the same models for the most part, so everyone in Eorzea has giant lobster-rippers.

The hand size isn't what really bothers me. For me and the case of Male Miqo'te is that their hands are locked in a position that it seems they want to claw the hell out of something.

Bring BRDs Wide Volley back and get rid of Quick Nock. They were the same potency so why get rid of the one with a good animation. And I hate everything about WHM and staves, please hold it with both hands.

The /close I believe. I may have misunderstood, merging your post with similar ones and forgetting the difference. But yes the idle pose, not the emote.
