They should at least do what BDO did - you get your personal DPS in game when you beat on a practice dummy. It goes to you and nobody else.

like one provided by SE itself? As that'll be the only way I think. Anything having to do with mods are a no go by sony tho. Also cause of the Nico thing SE wouldn't do it sadly. As a PS4 player I like knowing my numbers on my Sam and monk. :c
I don't do savage raiding. I'm not trying to join a raid team or some elite FC. I generally do 24 mans through the duty finder and EX and leveling roulettes. I think most would consider that pretty casual content. So then I head over to fflogs and yep there I am in all my glory. I never asked or agreed to be parsed, and from what I hear on this forum it's not even necessary for the sort of content I do. I'd never been harassed over it, but I felt very uncomfortable with it. Ultimately I decided to opt out just like I've opted out of telemarketing and junk mail. It's an intrusion I'd prefer to do without. What's so wrong with that?
Dummy parses are next to useless when actual content throws everything you practiced under the bus.
Nothing other than the fact you think people care about how you parse in 24 man, expert and EX trials.I don't do savage raiding. I'm not trying to join a raid team or some elite FC. It's about personal information being made public without consent and the fact that you belittle that speak volumes about you. Also parse supporters will always try to downplay any negativity but the thing is why ask for a official parser when you already use the 3rd party one. Why force something on others that have no need for it or want it?
A lot of games have leader-boards. Mainstream games like Super Mario Odyssey have online leader-boards for mini games.
Nobody cares about leader-boards except for the most obsessive-compulsive people or tryhards. Savage and Ultimate parses, eh nobody cares. It is just a number. Relax. Have fun however you want. If it is important to you, that is fine. I am not telling you how to have fun.
Fried popoto enthusiast.
What personal information about you is being made public? Parsers don't include your real name, address, phone number, email address, social media handles, government identification numbers or any other personal information. They contain your character name and performance information, which is public information. It's about personal information being made public without consent and the fact that you belittle that speak volumes about you. People who don't want to use a parser are free not to use them just as I'm free to not participate in PvP because I don't enjoy PvP. I use a parser to improve my performance because there's no other way of telling what might be holding it back. Why take away a tool from me that allows me to become a better player just because you don't want to use it?
I'm a huge supporter of having an official parser in-game. But I dunno...given how sensitive players are about being told they are doing something wrong or that their DPS is low, I'm not so sure about having an official one now. Some players at the lower end of the spectrum are just too sensitive, and given how quickly they are to react badly to even the mildest of constructive criticisms, I'm a bit on the fence about it.
Yes because live logs exist. Some people just turn them on by habit and they upload automatically every run they do for the convenience of not manually uploading them. Also if they do upload them manually, it's not to shame you, it's to toughen their parse logs.
