So, you're the main WoL, but some quests do acknowledge that you brought along other adventurers with you, your companions/friends. So not being the WoL in your story won't change their race, whether it's Viera or something else.

I Always thought When They said Your adventurer friends they were referring to the guild.

Unlikely given that if I recall, being an Au'Ra barely got more than a token nod if anything in the main storyline. Even if they do provide some unique text it's almost guaranteed to be a one and done line change.

If Au'ra Had a one and done if definitely the reason why I do not remember the reference . I'm hoping for at least so.e back story in the next book or something
