    Please consolidate crafting in Shadowbringers

    The crafting rotation is absurdly long for level 70 crafts. It has only gotten longer since ARR, and every subsequent DoH patch. If I used macros, it would be 3 completely full macros. But I don't like to use macros for latency reasons, so I'm literally pressing 30+ buttons for each craft. It's not as if it's hard to do this, it's just very tedious. I don't even want to think about how long crafting will take at level 80, at the current rate of difficulty increase.

    Please like this post if you agree. Conjecture tells me the more a post is liked, the more attention it gets from the devs.

    But... you dont need 3 full macros, 2 are totally doing the trick. Just how 2 were totally doing the trick in ARR (...I might still have mine somewhere...) - so while crafting got more complexe and we got more actions and so on, the macro-rotation didnt get longer (assuming endgame appropriate gear).

    And personally I'd prefer crafting moving forward by getting more complexe instead of moving backwards by getting more simplified. I'm not thrilled over long rotations either, but just how I want the Shadowbringer-dungeons to be more challenging than Sastasha, I'd like to see crafting at level 80 asking more off me than crafting at level 50.

    Sorry if you cant use a macro, manual crafting is indeed tedious - but I still dont want crafting to get "easier" (part of it is to juggle all your stats and skills after all - if you shorten the rotation by a great deal, you lose quit a bit of that puzzle).

    I use 3 macros, but two of them are so short they could be combined. It's only for variance's sake.

    I may not be a master crafter but I think ti's fun how it is. What I would recommend however is to cut down on some of the ridiculous material costs. My inventory is a mess whenever I try to craft just one item. Never mind the master crafters who keep virtual warehouses of retainers.

    I would much prefer if crafting actions could fire faster than every 3 seconds, and if quick synth didnt seem to take LONGER.

    The mechanical process of crafting current level stuff takes a bit long for backend reasons.

    The fact that it takes so long to mass produce consumables (Particularly infusions) is a large reason for why crafting bots are so common.

    I hope they increase the speed of crafting in general and make the quantities infusions are produced in larger so legitimate crafters can more easily keep up with the market demand (Since SE has made it pretty clear at this point that they have no intention of ever banning the aforementioned bots).

    I don't think making them less complex is necessary, but I do agree that speeding it up would help a lot. Ability delays and quicksynth speed are terrible.

    But nah, I love the complicated figuring out of actions until I get it down to a proper macro - it's like putting together a puzzle and figuring out where I need things to go to make it work.

    I think doing it hundreds and hundreds of times makes long rotations a bit less fun. Probably more times, for the really hardcore crafters out there.

    I use a maximum of 29 buttons, which is only about 12 different actions while crafting level 70 -4star items. Sounds like you're crafting very inefficiently or undergeared if you're hitting a minimum of 30 buttons.

    When crafting lower level items I use like 5 buttons and about 2-3 actions. If they consolidate even more I'm going to be able to craft HQ low level items in 1-2 buttons... kinda even more unfair to low level crafters, and much more boring in my books.
