You can only get them from the stupid bunny chests, which is random if you get a bunny if there are to many people at the fate, random what chest you get, random what logo gram you get, and THEN it's random what logos action you get.

So people should be forced to spend gil on something they can get out of a chest to complete something required to get your weapon? That's no different than having to pay crafters for items for the ARR and HW relics and they eventually fixed that with the HW relics. Just because you can throw gil at something doesn't mean the system is okay or good. I also don't have millions of gil to spend on crappy logo grams I'm never going to use. Or perhaps I should say I refuse to.

Gil isn't particularly difficult to make in this game and is typically best spent on something once you've gathered a decent amount. It's an option on the table, not a necessity - yet one that serves as a great convenience and worthwhile investment.
