I'm not a fan of how long the ears are... maybe if there was a bent ear option? or a slider for the ears? granted the slider probably wouldn't get the tip of the ears near the head....

Yeah, my friend is the one who sent me the video, and told me that gunblade or whatever he called it would be a tank (glad about that). Apparently, no word about males yet he said.

I was hoping to see what they looked like as well, I never thought I would play them though. If I play a male character its 10 times out of 10 a human. Just wanted to see if they look cool for what they are.

In all fairness, that's how they've always looked. Viera are wiry, cold, and aloof. That only breaks if there's enough Mist to drive them berserk.

So roughly what I've been saying in that other Viera thread with 200+ pages? Granted, I said they'd just be Hyur with rabbit ears (though female Midlanders are kinda dainty).
