SE Needs A New Policy On Griefing

Griefing is easy to do while learning Blue Magic skills. Blue Mage is a job that can be blocked off by nefarious players.

As a result of this, SE needs to make a stronger policy on griefing in the overworld.

I'd recommend giving 3.2 in the ToS a read.

Yeah, they really need a new policy. When farming for self destruct people were screaming in chat, and calling people names whenever someone new would come in with a chocobo, or just didn't know exactly what they were doing. Threatening to report, and or reporting what seemed to be dozens of people "griefing". Apparently, if you have your companion out that is intent to "grief".

Last night, majority of the BLU's learning Self-Destruct were requesting (some were kind about it, others less so) this one person to either despawn their chocobo, or put it in healer stance. This person refused (they shouted out "F no"). Their chocobo would stun/auto-attack the bombs to death every single time.

You're on Hyperion like me, were you there? Then you should have seen the blame game going on! Every single person was getting reported, apparently, according to them. I'm sure dozens of "griefer" reports to square enix is really gonna go over well.
