Thank you SE for the Return to Ivalice arc [spoilers]

ff12 was my first real step into final fantasy and it's been a delight to run this expansions raid. From learning some math to getting my butt handed to me on the final chapter (literally we wiped so many times) it's been an absolute treat.

Also I would like to thank you for being so faithful in Frans implementation. I look forward to seeing what comes of that little teaser you left at the end.

I'm curious where things are going with Gabby.

But yeah, this was a neat preview of things to come. Though, I wonder if Gria exist in this world or if they're replaced by Au Ra.

I also hope all future Raids have voiced bosses.

This right here. I've loved FFT since I was a little girl in elementary school. Return to Ivalice has been like a love letter to me and I can't thank Yoshi-P, Matsuno-san and the Dev team enough.

Their love and hard work showed in every leg, and they IMO saved the best for last.

In 2013 I started playing because I watched my brother run through Uldah and it reminded me of Rabanastre, now years later it's no longer a dream.

    Ramza, the zodiac braves, viera.

It almost feels like a tiny bit of closure to FFT for me, after years of an open ending full of possibilities... I know it's not canon to XII and FFT but it really was well thought out and touched my heart.

One might almost call it the alternate happy ending to FFT.

Either way, it was phenomenal. Just took my breath away. I feel like this is how you do fanservice right as opposed to the 8man raids.

If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

i may be alone in my opinion but no these raids are inferior to hw void ark raids. This latest one with the thundergod is horrendous i have yet to get past him because it requires too much group coordination for a 24 man

So he's the Ozma of the expansion's raids. He'll be horrible for maybe just a couple weeks then everything will be fine.

There is a rather high level of coordination required for the Thunder God compared to literally every other 24 man boss to date, to the point of it being rather jarring for some. Still, following simple movement rules makes the mechanics a lot more manageable (Tanks/heals stay and DPS run left/clockwise made Duskblade and Shadowblade fairly easy to handle).

The final boss felt like a joke by contrast since it doesn't really matter where people run as long they catch the flare circles.

Yeah I already asked Grimr's opinion of the final boss if he didn't like Orlandeau in another thread he made complaining about that fight.

I wasn't really sure how I felt about the whole Orran and Alma thing, really, but on the whole I'm happy with what we got. Seems like we're not really done with it though, given the hook at the end...

Yes, how horrible that group content requires a bit of communication and coordination in order to succeed instead of everyone just running about flailing their arms until the boss falls over. It can be frustrating when you have raid members who just can't seem to grasp mechanics no matter how many times they're hit in the face with it, but I for one like the denser style of the SB raids more than anything else we've had in the past. Feels a lot more satisfying when the boss dies because your group was able to work like a [relatively] well-oiled machine.

With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.
