In the Live Letter, Yoshi-P said we'd be able to buy stuff from the servers we visit - but we can't sell stuff there.

Heya I have read that you have to finish the new 24 Man raid and it will then appear in the gold saucer but I am not sure hope that helps ^^

New Hairstyle is 50k MGP at the Saucer, and appears to be gender locked (I only got Alma hairstyle).

Didn't check before beating monastery so don't know if it's required.
