Don't get me wrong, I wish it was a traditional class. But I'm fine with se experimenting. Like I don't get this community sometimes. One day y'all whine on how se never breaks from its mold then the next day y'all whine bc a new experiment is not to the traditional standards.

Can't do content we want to? What on earth do you even mean? Do you not like it? Is that why you don't do the content? Well then, not all content is gonna appease everyone. Not all content is gonna be considered fun. I can say this, no matter how much I find something boring in this game, se hasn't produced any side content I cannot do, but merely what I do not want to do.

Some people might absolutely love what they are doing with blue mage and it is something new se has created. Sure it is recycling older content, but at least they try to keep older content relevant in way, which most mmos don't do.

I want to do raids with it, plain and simple, in challenging end game content.

At no point has SE said that Blue Mage will ever get to do this. It will only get its level cap raised with the standard patches released through an expansion.

So it's not a mater of want.

I -cannot- do whatever raid drops with Shadowbringers with Blue Mage. No amount of 'breaking the mold' will replace that for me.

I'm sure that's going to remain true before the Blue Mage, specifically designed to not have to worry about interjob balance, rolls in there to get their one skill and then never return.
