Luminary tools- a real achievement

I personally know some of these crafters as they are on my server. I have helped them gather mats, cheered them on, watched them blow stuff up, and +3 items. I've seen them rank their first level 50 craft or DOL back in the days of fatigue...when they were only getting a fraction of the exp they deserved per chop or synth. They are not botters or lazy. And they work VERY hard to achieve their goals.

I was the 2nd person on rabanastre to hit 50 fishing, and i worked my butt off with fatigue and crappy SP way before all the newer changes!
so i have experienced the grind long ago

You don't automatically get a golden fishing rod, Whoopie~ I can guarantee I'd have all the Botany pre-reqs as well with my 43 Botanist (Did this long before any SP changes) am I sad that I don't get the achievments? No.

People need to stop with the massive Hyperbole about "We earned our 50's before it was cool to be 50!" I feel everyone should earn their levels but I don't think anyone should feel they are entitled to something just because they did it first. SE didn't record our crafting, if they did we would have auto unlocked it...but they didn't.

I don't see what people are trying to do here, it's not like SE is going to say "Well just because you fell you deserved that new alembic we are going to just give every rank 50 crafter the tool" We are still playing during the rebuild of the original tear down, stuff like this is bound to happen. Crying over it is just stupid.

It's a bunch of crying over spilt milk, I'm sorry if you don't find that as hillarious as I do.


It would be another issue if there was something that SE could actually do about it, but they can't. Being all emo about it wont get you anywhere either chop some more wood/fish/rocks or get crafting. Be glad you actually have something to look forward to achieving in the future.
