How Blue Mage Could Exist in FFXIV

Yep I understand that but we are still allowed to ask for it just as people can ask for other jobs. I was questioning why some that are saying getting a standard BLU job and still having the limited BLU would be a "best of both worlds" scenario seem to be against those of us asking for it instead of joining us or being neutral.

Well, that is exactly why. I'm fine with you asking for it, I don't have anything against you asking for it, however I don't want them to do it, simply because I am content with limited BLU and would rather have a different job in 6.0 and beyond not a second go at BLU.
So that technically makes me "against" those of you that want a second version of BLU, not because I have anything against there being a version of BLU that's unrestricted, but because I don't want the resources wasted.

If Yoshi came out and said "For 6.0 we can either A: Work on new jobs as we always do, or B: Subtract one of the planned jobs to add the second Version of BLU some people have asked for."
There is no way for those of us in favour of A to agree with you or remain neutral as both of those stances contradict.
Your "best of both worlds" scenario is only a net positive for everyone if it has no negatives, while those who like limited BLU lose nothing for it's existence, it will still require resources that people might like to be used elsewhere.

Which, for game development. The Limited BLU has basically already gone gold, as Yoshi has stated ALL content for BLU has finished development. For changing anything before Shadowbringers releases... They should be about 80% done building the expansion already, if it's due June. And besides any reballancing that needs to be done in Test for the new classes, they should have all of their content done now.

As of now, there's no "cutting" any current content to make anything different without pushing out the release window. Everything right now is commited, and fervent change requests such as "Change BLU Now!" If they happen at all, will be only 5.5x or 6.0 relegated.

Then you and whoever else wouldn't agree that it's a best case scenario for there to be a second BLU. You believe the time and resources should be spent on another job and that's fine.

Limited BLU is side content and that's why Yoshi P paired it up with Diadem and Eureka when replying to that question in the press thing they did during Fan Fest weekend. Everyone can ask for what future JOBS they will like to see and some of us are asking for BLU to be one of them just as we were before last month.
