Blue Mage: Are you kidding me!?

I SHALL be maining BLU. Doing content that's new, sounds fun (I love collecting), and that I can get on with at my own pace without someone yelling at me because they disapprove of my play style. If I ever - highly unlikely - feel the need to run a roulette I'll go on another job. I'll do the MSQ on my SCH because not even Zenos managed to hurt my SCH very much. Really don't get what people are unhappy about, I'm very excited.

People have different interests and desires. You can main BLU where it matters to you but others can't in the content that means the most to them. It's good you're excited and some people would like to feel excitement over BLU as well one day.

I for one am extremely excited about what we are getting at this time, it's going to be so much fun and they have said they will lift the level cap later down the track.

I do however want others to get what they wished for as well. It would be amazing if they made it the first omni job where you could make more linear ability builds for each roll. I do hope they spend more time on Blue mage to make it what people want.
Just still having the option to go out, learn abilities the same way and be able to have that initial choice of using whatever ability you want even if it is still "limited" from certain content.

I appreciate that you can see past just what interests you and that others want something else/more. There isn't much of a reason for a combat job to be limited from content besides the devs wanted to make blu this way. So it's similar to how they made SMN the way they wanted in ARR. They changed SMN after getting feedback and they can make blu work in the full game as well if they decide to. Just depends on the feedback.
