    Famous last words right there

We know that at launch, it will be locked to level 50, banned from duty-finder, and not meant for group play. And Yoshi-P has said enough to make it seem like that's not going to change any time soon. Which is what people are complaining about. If you pay attention, most people aren't bashing the Masked Carnival beyond a trial at the end of a battle fishing log. They don't not-want it so much as not want only that.
But don't anyone here let any of that confuse you and go right ahead with what you were saying.

    Grow up seriously.
If the post really is that bad you can block, report, or just ignore. If the debate has reached the point of stagnation where neither side is going to budge, saying things again only this time meaner and pointing angry fingers isn't going to help, it's only going to get this thread closed (which I'm not saying isn't what some folks are gunning for at this point, mind)

Geeze, hard to decide which BLU thread to comment in, but I guess I'll settle for this one since it seems to be the largest active one and I've already posted in here once before.

First of all, I consider myself tenuously of the "Wait-and-see" opinion; but that doesn't mean I agree with or even exactly approve of their current direction with BLU as a "limited job." I too was looking forward to being able to play BLU in a way where you can call it "your main job" for content eventually in the future, so it being "limited" is a disappointing turn for me. I will definitely play it/try it when it's available, and like us all, will be able to come up with a more informed opinion then- but what little we do currently know and the devs have deigned to reveal about it do not paint a reassuring picture for many of us. I want it to "succeed" and perhaps foolishly hold on to the hope that the devs will put more than a modicum of effort into balancing it for content outside of "PF-pal-around-with-your-friends-and-the-level-capped-barren-world-outside-of-instances."

I also believe that people have every right to share their dissatisfaction with the job's current perceived direction (just as people can be content/happy/haughty about it). The devs obviously won't change their course for it's release, but it's even slightly possible negative feedback will affect what they do with it afterwards. While not nearly as overwhelming as say, the ill-fated Alliance Raid Loot change feedback, you'd be deluding yourself if you think those not pleased with the current direction for BLU is a "vocal minority;" those for/against are nearly polarized.

Aside from me being disappointed that there's even a chance that BLU may never "be allowed" in DF/current content due to that "Limited Job" label, I also don't think the dev's track record of "side-content" gives me any reassurance about how proactive they are going to be about keeping BLU relevant/ updating the Carnival. It seems like majority of what they release outside of their "raids and trials, memorize then beat! Farm it, forget it, two patches later: repeat! */cheerleader jump*" formula usually ends up falling-flat, and even if it doesn't, they let it stagnate once it's been siphoned of it's initial carrot(s). This has become such commonplace for majority of their side-content that it's no wonder why so many people seeing BLU being delegated to a side-activity (let's not kid ourselves, that's what it currently sounds like on release) as a red flag.

Also, in light of how RNG-happy the devs have been recently (Pagos, Pyros, etc.), I am even more apprehensive about any and all RNG-based spell-learning. I do admit, making the spells 100% guaranteed learned upon seeing is rather dull, but I also find the other end of the spectrum to be far worse. Worse still if you need to convince non-BLU peeps to slog through 15+ runs of the same primal (or dungeon!) because RNG aint your friend that day. Oh, and can you imagine if they decide to make some of the spells on release come from the level 50 hunt mobs? Though, I admit, these may be unfounded paranoia on my part (and are actually easily circumvented), but due to some of the questionable ways that they created their time-sinks, I do not put it past them to gate people's progress this way.

tldr; I will "wait-and-see," but not only does the dev's track record (or lack thereof) of designing enjoyable, side-content that sees meaningful upkeep make me suspicious of how earnest this "project" will be, but things like the possibility of RNG-based spell-learning being a frustrating gating mechanism, like Eureka's. People have a right to be disappointed and doubtful of it's implementation.
