eh, don't worry. these craft/dol gears will become obsolete once they raise the lvl cap to 60.

I'm glad i didn't lvl any DoH or DoL.![]()
I believe that's the point of type of stuff like this in any game -- It's an obvious goal but it's something you'll get without exactly focusing on it because you'll eventually unlock it as you're going. True it may not benefit people who are beyond capped or bot to cap, (unless this one is retroactive) but remember: every update is for the long term of the game, for all we know they may adjust the numbers by time the game relaunches, or they may even add more next update with silver line of luminary tools that takes significantly less work to do.
If they weren't keeping track, then they simply should have either A) grandfathered in level 50 crafters, or B) not created these achievements.

When do you not stop defending Square for bad game design decisions?
I agree with captainpicard, players should've been grandfathered in based on their level. Meaning those who were level 40 should've had the 1-40 achievements already cleared, while those who were rank 50 should've had everything cleared from the get-go. This is poor game design decision on Square's part since there wasn't a system in the first place and it penalizes crafters who reached 50 before the achievement system came in.
Whatever, we got no choice now.

Encourage people to fish/craft/whatever low level items = more low level items in the markets = lower prices so more viable gear for newbies. They have been trying to trickle down gear to low levels for awhile. Why do you think they added 'more gear rewards to low level leves' and such the past few patches if I recall. Not grandfathering you guys in, it's all just a way for SE to get the upper levels to still produce goods for the low levels and thus keep prices down on it.
Sorry but I agree with the naysayers here. If you have done anything to 50 on DoH, then this is utter BS. For those of us who spent a considerable amount of time already invested in doing these XXX synths (and often for no profit), this is total slap in the face.
They should have realized that "Hey, anyone who's gotten a craft through this level range would have already crafted this number of items". Ding, achievement granted.
I'm done, and have been a relatively staunch defender for the past six months since Yoshi started with major changes. I was looking forward to racking up some golden tools, but this is ridiculous, even for SE. Enjoy paying for ignorance.

Punctuation is your friend. It deliniates the difference between "Let's eat, Grandma!" and "Let's eat Grandma!"
