I'm waiting until I reach a verdict once it's actually out. I don't expect SE are taking any feedback seriously until people have actually given it a go. Personally, I am not against the concept, to me the issue will be the execution. But to me if the execution is good at it allows for meaningful entertainment, then it opens doors to job concepts we might not see in the normal line of jobs or at least.

It'd help solve the great summoner debate too, we could have a summoner that meets people's expectations of summoner and not affect those who like the existing summoner.

    But for non existing jobs.

    Puppet master
    Beast Master
Chemist (mixing potions in battle for a variety of effects)
Advanced versions of jobs would be cool and can offer up different gameplay styles. This would be a better solution to some issues than limited jobs in my opinion.

Then, obviously, I don't agree with more limited jobs. For something like a chemist class you should check out how my first mmo pulled it off.

The premise of it was that you had several abilities that you would create potions outside of combat (took a long time to make enough) and then equipped them as ammo. You had a throw ability to then attack with that potion that used up a decent amount of mana. It was a very high damage class that had two limits. Throw would drain your mana quickly if you went machine gun mode and you were limited to how many potions you made before you started to exp/quest/endgame. I loved the class and still think it was so unique fifteen years later.

Mimic would be the ultimate limited job.

It'd certainly be interesting. Typically Mime would copy the moves of party members. So it'd have to have a creative spin for sure.

I'd like to see Mime in a similar fashion as to how Bartz was a Mime in the first and second Dissidia games. So having the class combine skills/spells from other classes to create their own unique skills/spells. Also, having a Mime only duty that pits you against each Job trainer by themselves and then in groups would be cool.

Bartz sounds more like a freelancer in that description than a mimic. You should check this thread out. Onion knight and freelancer are pretty similar.

None. Keep the XI jobs in XI. Just keep XI out of XIV. Every time they try to bring something from XI into XIV, its a trainwreck. Just stop.

You're aware most of them are just Final Fantasy Jobs, right? If you don't want XI Jobs in XIV then you'd basically be limited to the upcoming Gunblade Job, Astrologian and Machinist... Everything else was in XI, because they were in Final Fantasy in various forms before that... Puppet Master is arguably unique to XI, but iirc a lot of the attachments took from Final Fantasy VIs Edgars Tools system, so I always saw it as the "Engineer" Job, though the same is true for Machinist I guess...

Heck, the main reason we're getting Blue Mage as it is seems to be more because they want to go the Final Fantasy V route by giving it fairly stupid spells that just don't balance well... It really doesn't remind me of XIs Blue Mage at all... In XI they made Blue Mage fit the XI system, where spell casters just had a ridiculous amount of spells, usually learned via using Scrolls, Blue just had a unique way of learning its spells and a unique way of using them (setting them for stat boosts and combinations formed traits/etc.)... I see no reason XIV couldn't have done more or less the same thing; Add Blue Mage in a way that fits with XIV. If we have Summoner as the horribly crippled Job that it is (as far as the Summoner theme goes, at least) then I see no reason why Blue should be any different... Could literally slap a "Learn" action that has a set potency but varies animation/name based on what you use it on, onto Red Mage and call it Blue Mage and it'd have been a better representation of the namesake than Summoner imo.
