I don't mean this to sound harsh, and I really feel bad for those that have to choose, but.... That's too bad (again, I know that sounds negative, it's not intended that way, just can't think of a better way to express it). Something needed to be done and this is what they have decided this is the best/easiest/whatever to go about it. I get that people don't want to choose... but, that's not an option. They made it pretty clear that complaining about it is futile. We would be better served spending our time trying to congregate as many people as we could somewhere that would be the most convenient for the most people of our particular group.

I agree it will be painful, but I expect it will all work out in the end. I guess I am just the type of person that says "Ok this is the situation, what can I do to make the best of this situation." rather than "This sucks. I hate it. Don't do it." That's not to say I am right and they are wrong... just different.
