I was still searching to find an answer so I greatly appreciate this, thanks. I've never encountered this issue because I have not had two classes sharing gear sets at level 70.If you go to your list of gear sets, you can right click on one of the healers and choose "Link to glamour plate". That means that job will be associated with the plate you pick. Do the same for the other healer and the second plate.
The old restrictions still apply (it only changes looks if you're in a town).
I hope they announce they changed their mind about one button pve combos as theres no logical reason to have 4 buttons for a combo no one pushes out of order.

NA Fanfest will most likely not see new job announcements which i wish they would. Probably they will tease new area(s) along with a Main Story Character whatever the person may be
Limiting the scope to the NA fanfest:
*Announcement of the title and hopefully a hint at the whereabouts, whether this is Garlemald or elsewhere.
*Revelation - if only a teaser - of the new race (or one of them, if there's two.)
*Revelation of one of the jobs, which I suspect will be BLU and an announcement it will be available as of the final patch for 4.x. I'm hoping the GBL, BLU and DNC thing is true.
*A commitment to innovating within and refining the combat system, hopefully with more customisation.
*Overhaul of PVP following a re-evaluation of whether it's actually adding any value to their current model. I'd like more focus on Frontlines and Rival Wings type content, less on Feast. If Feast remains in place, I'd like to see them limit the 10 button style to it, and not the other modes. I enjoyed Frontlines far more when it was an ability free for all. Otherwise, BLM and a few other jobs really need a review.
*At least some graphical and customisation upgrades. Muscle sliders for all races, separating au ra horns and faces, more facial options and some moderate HD updates would be welcome.
*An announcement that they will be exploring novel forms of content.
*Overhaul of the glamour system; a move to something like WoW's would be much welcomed.
*An end to item bloat. It's getting ridiculous.
Not specifically for the NA fanfest/other hopes:
*Eventual announcement of significant graphics upgrades; based on Yoshi's interviews, this is likelier to coincide with the PS5/6.0. At that point the baseline spec should be high enough to support graphics closer to 15's, for those with the right machines.
*Ishgard housing.
*A trip to the inner Hingashi Isles and a fully fledged out Raen settlement, that isn't as small as Sui no sato - more Raen, and specifically, more prominent male Raen NPCs.
*Keeping the story nuanced and not reducing the Garlean Empire to some generic big bad, especially given the groundwork they've already laid to avoid this. A more interesting role for Zodiark/Elidibus (and maybe some other Ascians) to play than generic villain, especially since they have the Void for that.
*More interactive abilities. I've always loved stances or ability synergies that alter how other abilities work. Some jobs already have this, and I'd like for them to build on it. RDM is particularly ripe for such a change.
*Focus on job identities over role templates.
*The calibre of the Tsukuyomi fight was fantastic. I'd love to see more like that. I also would like to see them keep up the ultimate modes, as they're a great addition.
*An end to metas. SE voiced displeasure at the whole idea recently, so I am hoping something is in the works to remedy the situation. Whilst I'm against homogeneisation and I like the lore logic behind things like debuffs, finding a way to make sure jobs don't get shelved due to metas is something I'd like to see them do.
*Experiment with gear set item bonuses. Materia could also be the focal point of this.
*Addition of more subraces, e.g. Garlean Pureblood for Hyur.
*Lots of FF8 and 9 inspiration for Sharlayan, when we get round to it.
*End the GCD rounding on macros. It's really annoying when they're a lot more efficient for certain functions, like mouseover healing. This game's targeting system is not the best on PC.
*The addition of Megiddo Flame for BLM!
I'll cover more specific job wishlists another time, but some small QoL changes I'd like for BLM would be a proper teleport and ground-targeted Flare/Foul.
*A lot less Lyse.
Agree with these.Housing:
- Additional housing wards to be added for every server.
- Two new housing districts. Ishgard and Garlemald.
Character Customisation:
- Additional character creation options for the existing playable races.
- More facial hair options for male characters.
- More scars/makeup options for both genders.
- Highlander men finally get authentic eyebrows.
- Xaela/Raen can choose their horn style without being bound to a particular face.
Server Stability:
- Upgrades to server stability and performance.
All seem great to me.What I expect is pretty bare bones, but what I'd like/love to hear is an overhaul of the game's tired formula. 3 points in particular.
1: Some system for customizing gameplay. The simplest solution is more interesting stats on gear, but a talent tree, sub jobs, etc would also fit the bill.
2: More interesting and varied battle content. Instead of predictable dungeons/trials/raids in a format so unchanging I could tell you what's going to be in patch 7.3, I would like to see new formats for battle content. Even things as simple as "Defend this outpost from waves of enemy attacks" or "Deliver this bomb to its destination" would be a welcome relief from the linear, predictable content we have now.
3: Ease up on the freakishly steep vertical progression. Nothing we accomplish in the game has any long lasting meaning as it is. I can slave and slave for a new set of gear (that is already super boring because of the lack of interesting stats) and in a couple months time that gear with be both worthless and incredibly easy to get.

When the game's story becomes self-aware:
I don't think garleans are hyur at all. Aren't they an entirely seperate race? Hyur have personal aether while garleans have none.
Here you go !Care to share? I have two different healer plates and I have to re-aply them each time I change jobs. I've been looking but I can't find any written information.
As for hopes for the new expansion...uhh...something to do in the open world, besides hunts and gathering. I'd be really happy with some better skeletons for the four legged creatures in this game too since they're probably not going to fix the way chocobos look.

I've been dreaming of it since I first got to the underwater part of the Ruby Sea.

I hope Yoshi-P wears the Spider-Man shirt again, but this time for a job it makes sense for.
