Sure, you can say you'll do it the "right way" by going through dungeons, but nothing's stopping you from doing that currently. Go run all of the dungeons in sequence. Spam them if you like. You'd be doing that exact thing if you started from 1; the only difference is that now you'll be synced, but that doesn't change anything.

Unless there was some other meaningful way to level classes, this really does no good and just inflicts nonsense on people who already have an idea of what they're doing and don't want to be relegated to level 1 to grind the same stuff, over and over again. They're not going to give us another MSQ to cut our teeth on. Most games don't have this problem because you can only play one class, and I'd rather see FFXIV keep the multi-job system & just let us level them in the way we want instead of scrap it so that we're just using MSQ for our single class.
If you don't want to level grind, there's a super cool item that circumvents 90% of it.

Joking aside, I already gave my entirely sound reasoning for wanting to level from scratch. For the record though
PotD/HoH isnt nearly as fast as you think it is, at least not before 50. Clearly you'd rather have it handed to you on a plate. So let's agree to disagree.
