Yah, and you kill the casters by giving both BRD and MCH shorter Refresh timers. You buff the raid even more with more Foe Requiem usage, and with less MP problems for the healers, allowing for more DPS. Refresh has a refresh potency of 6,000 MP each time it’s used. Shortening that means MP would be as big of an issue as TP is, and Foe’s 3% adds up over time.

Shortening the cooldown on Tactician would be meaningless for MCH; it would greatly benefit BRD though, who needs its enmity dumped far more often because it doesn’t have a turret to split it with. TP is a non-issue for most jobs after a death now that all melee and both physical ranged have Invigorate, and WAR can refresh its own TP with Deliverance Equilibrium if it has to. PLD and DRK would be the only ones it would benefit... but then, melee can just bring Goad for them because “lol 10 role action slots”. Shortening the cooldown on Palisade means that both BRD/MCH can alternate them for physical busters or even just physical auto attacks, making healing a tank even more of a joke and allowing healers to DPS more. Shortening the cooldown on Dismantle (which is already really short) holds the same.


The META is dominated by raid buffs. You giving a support skill like Refresh a shorter recast time—a skill that is already overpowered compared to the alternative (Mana Shift)—just fuels the raid buffs that made the physical meta meta for so long.

If they’re “just support skills xD”, why are you including them in your proposed buffs? They don’t buff just MCH—they also buff the contribution BRD gives a party, and the party itself.
(Which, by the way, a 10% Hypercharge would be a 30 second Trick Attack every 2 minutes. I don’t want to hear anything about BRD being the OP job if this ever came to pass.)
