    Honestly with 2000+ posts I'd be amazed if Viera doesnt atleast become a beastman race if not a playable race....

    Well we know that Viera exist at the very least. They were name dropped. They are a canon part of the universe.

    Ive been away for a while and may have missed that part. Other than Dalmascans being named multiple times, I missed Viera being noted directly in-game. Any chance you could tell me where abouts it was mentioned. I'd love to get my hopes up! lol

    Pretty sure it's when you're talking to Montblanc in the Ivalice raid quests. He mentions how different races used to mingle before the Empire ruined the show and drops Viera by name in there.

    Thanks for the source! I totally didnt notice when I'd read through it the first time! This is awesome! Atleast now they are a canon part of XIV's lore :3
