Opinions on next eureka armor upgrades

I don't recall the devs saying there would be an option to upgrade the armour in Pyros. In fact I recall Yoshi P stating there would be no further armour steps in one of the live letters. By all means prove me wrong, but I think this is just another fan rumour.

They had said that the anemos armor was just a dyeable version of the relic armor but in live letter 45 in July it was stated that there would be armor and weapon upgrades in the 4.4 version of eureka

Will we need the sabemos version of the armor? Will we be forced to do some nonsense in Pagos to start the Pyros upgrades?

If we can forego Pagos then I will be going back to Anemos for a set or even 2.

If we have to go to Pagos for ANYTHING so we can start the Pyros upgrades then the new gear might as well get thrown into a lava pit. I am not stepping foot on Pagos unless they do some HEAVY nerfs to it.

you have to finish Pagos storyline to start Pyros if I recall thing correctly.

Armor upgrade won't need pagos, but the weapon will.

We'll need the ilv350 anemos armor set to upgrade it to elemental or pagos or whatever the name in Pyros. We will be able to rebuy them to a NPC close to the entrance (kugane Eureka entrance not in Eureka itself) in case we lost them like for the weapon at pagos realease.

I see Pyros having 3 different ilv sets for it one ilv 370 one ilv 375 (useful as be potentially be UwU BiS) and ilv 380 with wep being ilv 385 all with 5 materia slots. As for looks I want a glow no more than the augmented sets back in ARR as for wep maybe a glow that goes up the arms instead of down the wep be a little more unique that way

I just want it to look individual/unique, I'm so tired of these messes of plates, straps, loops, and bits of metal that all look the same and are virtually indistinguishable from each other. /stares at all of the tome gear from 4.0

I wouldn't object to having it require the Anemos set, as long as it doesn't consume it, I love my dyeable Rdm set.

Yup, A NPC for this is already up next to the entrance for Eureka in Kugane. He sell the Aemos weapon replica for those who want them back for vanity reason. He will maybe sell the Anemos armor too at Pyros release.
