When i see aLalafellcharacter wearing a cute glam
Ya know, after sampling some of the Lala voices, these don't seem that bad. Although I'd say some of them are so bad they're good. I personally tend to use one of the more annoying ones when I go Lala. Amuses me to no end.

I'd love this option, everyone is happy. I'll finally get a tall statuesque vicious female character and can swap from Au Ra was so disappointed they were so small in comparison to the guys. Everyone that screams just play an Elezen and it'll be fine man that whole race looks deformed hence why they are so unpopular. PLUS IMAGINE THE MEMES of playing VIERA DRAGON WORLD 1st BUNNY DRAGOON!!!!!!!! WHO DOESNT WANNA SEE A BUNNY DRAGON?!?My Viera wishlist:
- Male, and female Viera are the same. No dimorphism like male and female Au Ra.
- Each clan is different like Highlander, and Midlander. One is tall, and the other is the cuter one we’ve been accustomed to in Tactics, and Revanant Wings. That way the cute loving east, and the more serious natured west can be happy. Plus we are overdue for a small race.
- Tall would be called Wood Viera.
- Short would be called Feol Viera.
If Viera gets added, I'd love if one faction of them had the females being the tall, strong looking, amazonian-like and the men being the small, delicate looking... practically reversing the dimorphism in Au Ra
I really hope we get no small/ child size races. Not only for the negative issues it always brings but also due to gear textures and graphics are canalized when showcased on said races. I can't count how many times i have disappointed to see gear previews on a Lalafel... "Great arms, legs, and boots are hidden/ none existent..."
I like this idea...and I'd also prefer they truly look the part. Not just a tall Highlanders/Midlanders with rabbit ears.
I think gear on Lalafells gets altered slightly because their body proportions are... whacky (feet and hands are tiny, etc). Kids in this game are just smaller versions of their adult forms.I really hope we get no small/ child size races. That said, given how... "kinky" some of the armour is in this game (that I have 100% taken advantage of with my Roe), it's best childlike versions of the Viera concept does not come to be playable.
Aye my thoughts exactly. No reason for a child race in this game, far to many times i have seen what communities use them for... Frankly it's sick and i find it disturbing.I think gear on Lalafells gets altered slightly because their body proportions are... whacky (feet and hands are tiny, etc). (Tera Online Elin censorship edits done to promote western release)
(Tera Online no edit costume on Elin model. I do not want to see this in FFXIV.)
Given that Yoshi P has said it himself that certain armors are already problematic due to their reveling nature, (in reference to the possibility of Vagrant Story gear) already we can see what many have done with play dead emote on Lalafell's
(characters of Vagrant Story)
Even now, i truly believe that the small Viera in the concept art is nothing more than child versions of the race... as every other races has... (except Roegadyn...)
... and as a representation of a child should not be playable.
