You must be mixing A ranks and S ranks. A ranks randomly spawn and do not have spawn conditions. All S ranks have spawn conditions are not just random spawns. You must meet spawn condition requirements before S ranks will spawn.

^Pay attention if the hunt is a B, A, or S rank and you will see none of the B and A rank have spawn conditions while all of the S ranks do.



Ok, at the same time, the people working to spawn the S ranks are under no obligation to call out the S rank and can just kill it without telling anyone. People doing the work are giving a courtesy waiting a couple minutes before pulling to give people who aren't spawning to come and get credit too. Don't know how Balmung hunt community is but I hope you don't get salty if the ones working to spawn decide to stop calling out the hunts if you are one of the ones leeching off the work the hunters put in.
