I see you've been around since 2013.
I gesture to Praetorium.
And then I gesture to PVP.
And then I genuflect in the direction of the current state of savage/extreme PF.
Once something's out the door, Square doesn't care what happens to it. As for what Square decides to push out the door, I offer a grand flourish to Eureka.![]()

I still enjoy the game, otherwise I wouldn't be here. But I do hope that they do clean things up and show us what I know they're capable of someday.

Same. I'm mainly holding out to see what they intend for 5.0. We're overdue for a Cataclysm-style rework of old content, both so new players don't need to suffer through what-- 500 mindless quests before they matter, and older players don't need to suffer through haphazardly-nerfed content that no longer has the teeth necessary to teach anyone anything.
I can't say my hopes are within realm of possibility for Square, though. Praetorium alone has shown they are utterly incapable reworking old content in such a way that it fixes the root cause of player concerns.
In short, FFXIV has a hoarding problem. It needs to learn when it's time to throw something away.
