I just had a run where I'm questioning everything. I'm leveling PLD and so far I've been used to wall to wall pulls. I don't tank so for me to do those is a testament to the healers and DPS's I've been getting cause I rarely if ever wipe. Well Doma fucking castle just now. THe healer told me small pulls so I was like ok. I get it. They either new or not experience with healing. And BOOOOY.... were they unexperienced. Wiped like 6 times in there. I'm using all my CD's mobs are dying slow as hell, and even in small pulls I'm barely getting healed. THen said healer is like I'm out of mp.. and I'm over here thinking.. HOW? You're not doing shit???!?! HOW? I don't know... I'm normally not this eilitist or O.o in dungeons as we all started somewhere. But the way this ran today just now got me on edge and I'm just .... Well you see me in here ranting.. that should say enough. And I'm normally the one DEFENDING people. Dear fucking god tho... can people learn to play? I know I'm not the best but holy shit. I've NEVER wiped so hard in anything in this game. There's learning and then there's " Are you even trying" Bonus points for who ever gets that qoute.

Well now I feel noob cause I didn't think to kick them. Tho I need to get into the habit speaking up and kicking cause that run shouldn't have took that long. I just didn't want to be an asshole, but inturn because of that I got a 50 min doma castle T.T

O12N for the week. First instance, get to the M & F part. It was already bad, but it got worse. Healers can't keep either themselves or anyone else alive and of course DPS don't know what enmity tools are because of course they don't despite one SAM not only insisting that the tanks stay in tank stance which I was never in to begin with, but that they were using their enmity tools as much as they could as if I'd believe not only a SAM, but a DF SAM even knows what enmity tools are, especially when they dash in as soon as the add is targetable. Ends in a wipe as expected for this Ultimate level content and vote abandon passes.

Requeue and shockingly enough the next attempt isn't the hottest of garbage and we clear all while I tank Omega-F exclusively in Sword Oath.

Yesterday I decided that I was gonna gear up my red mage so I could have an easy class to play when I don't want to play anything strenuous in this game. I bought enough gear to get me into the Burn and I was paired with a bard, ast, and war. Now the big pulls went well and despite my ilvl being lower than everyone else and even pulled a few mobs off the tank and used sacred shroud (what is it called now?) to loose enmity just before the first boss. However, I had no clue of the utter disaster that was about to smack me clear in the face. The first boss I do my opener, and I was at fault believing that my ilvl would prevent me from pulling agro off the tank. Ya, not so, and I got smacked in the face by the boss and died within the first ten seconds. My only death for the rest of the dungeon, because I learned my lesson and used my anti enmity skills from then on. Everything goes fine til the second boss, both the healer and bard die. I get the healer back up but the bard decided to respawn and I dps the last 20% of the boss's health. But there is a few exchanges in the party about things going south. I'm like okay ya, my bad on the first boss, but we are still making good time, so I don't comment.

Then the dreaded Mist Dragon happens. The healer, does not know what esuna is. And each time players stand in the ice and get the debuff no one cleanses it off. I am smart enough to not go into the ice, but the tank is not intelligent enough to put on his tank stance once he is taking damage and the healer does not keep up with healing. Tank goes down and so does the healer. I get them both up, give the healer mana, use sacred shroud. Continue dps'ing. Bard dies due to same issue. Get them up. Dps check comes. Bard gets stuck in ice and after getting them out one head is left. Both healer and bard go down yet again. I get them up. Tank is in tank stance despite his death sickness and no healer. Goes down shortly after I get the other two up. Get him up, sacred shroud is up again and I pop it. Tank is STILL in dps stance. More ice debuffs. Everyone dies cept me again. I get healer up while some how not dying to boss I also get tank up once I have enough mana. STILL not in tank stance, no regens from the ast. Ast gets bard up. Ast and tank die again. I get ast up. Dragon dies due to auto damage, probably.

I have this on my ps4 but for some odd reason it will not let me upload it to youtube so I can add the chicken dance music. But dear god, you'd think I'd get comms right? Nope. Just bitching about how the dps was low and bitching about how this party sucks.

Btw, this fight was long enough that the dps check came out twice and we were probably about to get it a third time at the rate we went. In short, I played nigh perfectly during that boss, the tank was retarded, the healer should learn what esuna is and regens, and I am sorry bard but you were my lowest priority but I think you were the reason I ever had any mana. But honestly, learn to comm your red mage when you guys want to stand in pools of ice like idiots.

The part with the dragon heads? I've never seen her do it twice. Even on day one just a couple hours after the patch went live. But yea, if I'm dumb enough to die and one of the DPS has to pick me up. I'll always comm them.

Anyway, I used Rescue correctly for the first time the other day. I never had it on my bar until this patch and never saw a use for it. But I was running LotA for roulette and my tank was the MT and they liked to get a couple extra swings in. Cut it close with the first Ancient Flare. Second time, they weren't going to make it. I literally pulled them out of the fire.

Castrum Meridianum, wipe on first mobs. Got the impression the tanks were completely new, wondered if they did jump potions and didn't bother learning their roles. Through out the whole thing I kept being chased by ads and I could dance circles around him, but neither tank would actually grab the ads. I was RDM so I would really prefer to not die immediately. Lucid dreaming and diversion did not help which made me think they're not doing anything to generate aggro. I noticed melee dps were getting huge hits to their HP bars. I have not played a tank yet beyond doing the training facility with a lowly pld so I try not to judge.... but. Even from that I really get the feeling something was majorly wrong there. >:\

I mean, I love getting a RDM that actually Mana Shifts and helps Raise. They’re such a rarity in DF/PF. If I know they’re doing one or the either, it’s usually an automatic commendation from me if I’m on healer.

Try playing a gladiator and use flash. Your faith in the playerbase will collapse.

Learn to think of it as being unkind to their future parties if someone like this gets a clear on something they plainly can't handle if you don't kick them.

Just got out of an...interesting...Alpha 2.0.

Que up as PLD, co-tank was a PLD(with a rather...self promoting welcome macro....note they were also in Shield Oath when they spawned in), healers were a WHM and AST, with RDM, NIN, BRD, and SMN for DPS. Seeing the other tank is ShieldO, I went SwordO. Right as they start the countdown they remove, yes REMOVE, Shield Oath. It gets to 2 and I see people are already casting, so I get ready to pluck it right off of them. I proceeded to tank in Sword Oath for the entire time I'm MT, until Ms No-Oath decides to throw up Shield Oath again(this is around the phase change after the add is dead, and I've yet to even think of putting on Shield Oath myself). Commence the fight for aggro with another PLD, while I'm still in Sword Oath.

When they finally grabbed the boss for good, they proceeded to tank him at an angle so that when he does the double-somersault, he is hitting the corners with the line AOEs, and eat almost all AoEs. Good thing I'm still at the top of the aggro list, as it comes back to me, facing North. I do end up dying later on, but that was after everyone had eaten almost all the line AoEs, an Ahk Mohrn with too few people(thank you Hallowed Ground), and I ate a Tail End while at less than 20k HP remaining. Thankfully the SMN was still alive, got one of the healers up, and they LB3 to save us, with about 30% to go. Other tank ended up eating 4 vuln stacks of stuff and dying, and I regain MT status until we clear.
