Can we PLEASE get a GC Re-Assignment?

Like everyone else has said many times, the warnings were there to pick based off what you -wanted- and not what was available from the vendors. The devs have said the ability to switch grand companies could be considered after the overhauls.

In short, deal with your choices for the next year, or play after they change it.

There is absolutely no reason for our not being aloud to change company. It was a Horrible design decision that has come back to haunt people constantly. There may not be GC group quests, yet, but there are GC achievements and Bonuses that we were not warned about.

Allowing us to change companies would not hurt this game in any way. If anything it would serve only to extend the life of what little content we have by letting you earn your ranks in every company.

There may not be GC group quests, but there are GC specific Quests.

Finally, there any many people who Chose the GC that appealed to them most only to find out absolutely no one else joined that company. On Saronia, it is next to impossible to find another person in The Order of the Twin Adder.

My best friend who I play the game with and I both chose our respective Grand Companies entirely based onclass specific weapons, thinking the weapons in each GC were what each one favored in terms of overall rewards.

ONLY to find out once we both made said choices that we are now unable to participate in all the GC group related quests together.

Now with the new items beign released, it further kicks both o fus in the pants with how the player segmentation works.

Can we please be allowed to re-choose our CG for the duration of this patch now that the entire reason we has made out choices has been made obsolete?

Also my 2 cents: Creating more and more ways to segment your already rediculously small and soon to be dwindling player base is the worst idea I have ever heard of in a cooperative non faction based MMO. Bonus seals on Ifrit for a full party in the same GC, and quests that are only do-able within yoru GC makes this game that much more lonely to play.

Yoshi-P told us so many times, even in official posts, to NOT choose your grand company based on the rewards but to choose it based on your personal preference. That's what you get for not listening, shame on you.

What exactly are the benefits? So far the only thing I have seen is beating the instances with people in the same company as you gives you a slightly greater reward for grand company seals, and those are pretty much negligable.

there is none in fact. The "bonus" to company seal it's in place only in ifrit 25...

It is not a priority. It will be changed with added quest in the fututre for betraying companies I am sure. But for now its not a need, must have, or even a priority.

In other words, I think patients untill they do add it is the key.
