Just allow all mounts to fly. I know in some cases that would be ridiculous but we already got a flying t-rex and behemoth. Let everyone enjoy any of their mounts in any area where they can be used.

I really wish I could use my blue pony in HW and SB zones : /

a lot of it probably comes down to nonflying mounts dont have the same coding flying ones do, so recoding a mount to fly involves more testing and crossreference work to make sure updating the code doesnt do things like accidentally delete your mount from your list or make it not drop in the loot tables, especially if some of the coding of the game references line numbers instead of modules (ie the famous GOTO 10 function)

I remember when I got this mount in 2013 and the flavour text on the horn said "Rainbow barding optional". I searched every forum, I searched the marketboard, I asked in multiple areas in shout, "How do I get the rainbow barding for my Unicorn?"

...Turns out the flavour text was just a troll.

I wanted that barding too. Why must you toy with our hearts SE?

I want a way to reclaim my unicorn, when I first got it I threw out the whistle not knowing what to do with it and now can never have it unless they allow it to be reclaimed.

That really sucks, I hope they add a way for you to get it back. They should add mount and minion quest rewards to the calamity salvager incase that sort of thing happens.
