I haven't experienced any network issue on my end. If there is indeed a network issue, we do not know if it's within Square-Enix's control.

[EDIT]

Logic would suggest that, if there is something wrong with FFXIV's servers or network, everyone would be affected.
I'm fairly certain it's on SE's side. If not then please explain this to me: How come that during a Shatter match, out of the ~72 players 70 disconnected at once, I was the only one left out of all 9 alliances with another teammate of mine. We just captured all the points without any effort and won the game. Wasn't fun but free Marks, I guess?

Then later on in Eureka, at least 100 out of 144 people suddenly all went poof. Must be on our side, right?

It also doesn't explain why there have be multiple reports of Chaos having hiccups in general since 4.1. 4.1, you know the patch ages ago. I'd agree if it would be an one-of-a-kind kind of deal but it certainly isn't. I'm not gonna lie and say the game isn't playable, because it is, however when you feel the server is having a hiccup and your entire static has the exact same issue at the exact same time it surely can't be on our side.
