    Wow, you all could enjoy your time much more if you didn't worry too much about getting absolutely everything, though I'm sure I don't have to tell you that. Just say goodbye to Eureka. There wasn't any fun in it to begin with, except for some people here and there and I don't judge them for it but most of you are just submitting yourselves to torture.

    Depending on just how much of a buff the "light" phase of the relic grind got, it might be worth suffering through. We will have to see once the servers come back up. If it's big enough to actually make a difference then I may end up giving Pagos a go after all.

    Yep, people have been saying that in FFXI for years too.

    I think the FFXI stuff can be gained from those cold wrapped chests or what the bunnies dig up. I'm guessing they did that because of all the boxes and fireworks that we kept getting from Animos. Unless those items have use in Pagos or in all Eurika, its just not that compelling to waste as much time in FFXIV for the FFXI glamours in this manner.

    Given the ilevel cap they should have had i300 enchanted gear and weapons made available to purchase as early as Animos, or by lv26 in Pagos just for use in Eureka. This would have helped make the grind easier and less of a life sync.

    mug does not affect fate rewards, and being what the NM are basically fates whit NM spawn conditions... well, i am doubtfull mug can affect the drop rate

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    The thing is Eureka does not belong in FFXIV as it is. It caters to a wide horizontal progression that is non sequitur from the rest of the game. I know FFXIV is secretly trying to go horizontal, but the game itself is preventing it.

    That's why I think it's a good thing to have one content used as an experiment. If they can't find a way to make horizontal progression work properly, it won't break the whole game.

    Increasing the experience from the challenge log and increasing light gains is a step in the right direction but Pagos still needs a lot of work. It is still not a fun place to go. The experience and level loss on death needs to go as this makes you not want to explore especially in Pagos where the chain grind makes people a lot less willing to help others. The rewards from the bunny chests needs to be improved especially if the experience penalties don't go. As it is getting a grade 5 materia as a reward for risking potentially hours of grinding is not worth it. The drop rate of stuff like the emote, pets, and other fun factor items needs to be improved. All monsters need to have a chance at cold warped lockbox dropping and a chance to mutate / adapt that boosts the drop chance with no weather / time restrictions.

    The spawn rate of the Notorious Monsters needs to be brought to Anemos levels at the minimum. Going a full lockout and seeing half or less NMs than you see on an average Anemos lockout just makes Pagos feel very unrewarding especially considering how few lockboxes etc you get from each NM in Pagos. Sitting and doing chain grinding for hours is not fun and it is actually something that causes real life pain in people's hands and wrists. This design needs to be changed as I can't imagine the developers of FFXIV want to cause carpal tunnel syndrome in their customers.
