They are way too damn rare.

Yep, seems about right for stuff from FFXI. But have you tried having a Ninja use Mug right before the NM dies? Or did they remove that effect?

This mainly comes down to simply increasing the drop rate of certain items.

Yep, people have been saying that in FFXI for years too.

I think the FFXI stuff can be gained from those cold wrapped chests or what the bunnies dig up. I'm guessing they did that because of all the boxes and fireworks that we kept getting from Animos. Unless those items have use in Pagos or in all Eurika, its just not that compelling to waste as much time in FFXIV for the FFXI glamours in this manner.

Given the ilevel cap they should have had i300 enchanted gear and weapons made available to purchase as early as Animos, or by lv26 in Pagos just for use in Eureka. This would have helped make the grind easier and less of a life sync.
