Shinryu Normal mode.

Half the party keeps dying to every single mechanic, and two more die to every other mechanic, leaving only me and one DPS alive after a while.

Cue six people demanding that two people carry them and clear the fight while they lie dead on the floor.
Including my co-tank who has full 370 tomestone gear.

Three guesses how well that went.

I actually worry about getting Shin normal in a Roulette - I've done it twice: once for the story and once when it came up in a Roulette - literally months ago.
I'm struggling to even remember it >.<
Same thing going into A4N this week - luckily had it one shot cleared in the first week (got a drop) - by some miracle - and then had to go back into into it cold this week.
I'm always paranoid that everyone else has done it way more than me by this point.

@skivvy I feel for you. I do think it is an epidemic of Rdm and smn not raising (I am a main smn it pains me), also weirdly I find that quite often even healers refuse to raise me for such a long time that I got rezzed by co alliance healer I swift rezzed before x)

One time in Rabanastre during Hasmal, one dude from another alliance came into our zone during the tower part. He had a stack marker on his head and stacked with us. My alliance died which then lead to a wipe.

After a general warning of "Stay into your zone please" we try again. Near the end where the 3 tower crash to divide the arena, another dude from another alliance came to us.
Suddenly in the chat, one of my party member wrote in all caps :

"BACK TO YOUR LETTER YOU UNCULTURED SWINE !"

I know it kinda sounds mean, and the person who wasn't with his alliance surely didn't mean that to happen, but the sudden yelling and the Toy Story reference made me laugh out loud.

I did leveling roulette and got the dark hold dungeon. Tank was a paladin, healer was a white mage, I was dragoon, other dps was a bard. Tank pulls fairly big but dies and we wipe, the white mage didn't sprint when the rest of us did, and that we died because we decided to run off. Healer died several times before we reached the first boss, each time blaming the tank.

So we get to the part where the toads, and a few mobs are around those things that randomly explode. Healer died to that at least I think, because nothing was attacking her. She yells "Thanks tank!" then respawns. The tank gets annoyed at this point,We then reach the final boss where the white mage does again, I'm not sure how she died this time either. I'll post screenshots once I edit the names and stuff out.

The conversation is between the healer and tank.I only said it was alright, when the tank apologized.

Got a story where I gotta say it almost made me rethink about maybe taking up mentorship again.

I queue up for leveling roulette and end up in Bardam with me as WAR, a SMN, a RDM and AST. I start the first mass pull...and promptly die just a few seconds later. We managed to at least kill one monster before we respawn. AST apologizes and says he's rusty. I just shrug it off and tell him its alright. I try another mass pull and it goes sorta well, except for the part where things die pretty slow. I'm confused because we have meltcasters in the party so I try not to think on it too much and guess maybe they're just warming up slowly.

We clear the wall monsters then I tag the next pack. Again, the pack dies slowly but this time I notice why: no smn dots. After we finish the pack, I stop to type. At first, I consider asking the smn why he's not casting dots, then I consider just straight up vote kick. But then I actually just type this:
"I know I'll probably get my head bitten off for this but it needs to be said"
"One the SMN's best asset is its dots."
"Please try casting dots"

To my surprise, the smn says "okay" and then proceeds to actually cast them. I do notice some of it is applied quite manually, meaning without the use of bane? (the skill that spreads the dots) but I let it go. I then make sure to adjust and do normal pulls to ensure we clear everything.

And then, the second most suprising thing happened after we cleared the last boss. The SMN says "thx for the advice about smn". I leave the dgn with 3 comms. It was the most flabbergasting thing I've ever encountered in a loooong time. I don't know how the smn made it into bardam without learning how to use his main toolkit. Maybe he was straight up lvling sch and now he decided to play smn, idk. But what I do know is that I hope he looks into it and practices it to be fairly decent and more importantly, I hope he keeps taking advice just like that.

So yeah, thx for rekindling a little bit of hope in players within me, smn.

Just had a BLM in 50/60 roullete using Blizz 3 then Fire 3 then flare (single target) over and over, told him the properly level 50 rotation quickly, he asked "Can i not play the way i want?". Replied "Not really classes have nearly fixed rotations, then he tried to guilt trip me and left, "Sorry guys im not having fun anymore bye". Like dude if your idea of fun is spamming random buttons buy a boppit or something dude.

I always Raise immediately. Unless I'm mid-combo. Then I finish the combo first.

I've seen two wipes on Rabanastre due to that scenario, so I sympathize more with the swine poster than the stack marker goofball.
