    No, it doesn't. Even Ultima Weapon Ultimate doesn't do this, and a lot of the timings there are incredibly tight. Like "hesitate for half a second and you're dead" tight.

    Suzaku's floor mechanic is rather unique in this regard. As I said previously, the only thing I can think of as remotely comparable is about 5 years ago. Titan, before they upped the server tick rate.

    I've seen this sort of latency thing happen on emptiness/exaflare, the shiva bomb pattern but it might be my high ping doing it. (Dodging into the animation and not getting hit at all). Also the white proximity markers first seen on Cruise Chaser and then on exdeath flares, seen people run to the edge with it (snapshotted near the center) and still wipe the group.

    There's a difference between "You were not in position when the cast finished/animation started and that's why you died/wiped/etc some seconds later" (standard snapshotting common in the game) and "You were in position with time to spare and it still killed you".

    Suzaku's floor mechanic is the latter, and it's the only mechanic I know of in the game that's like this. (As a previous poster mentioned, even every other mechanic in Suzaku EX does not act like this) And I do a lot of ex/savage content so I'm not pulling from a small number of experiences.

    We'll just have to agree to disagree then. I'm pretty sure it's snapshotting earlier than the fire goes out so I consider it pretty much the same thing which means lowering the amount of space you have to travel across fixes the problem.

    Oh for sure it is. But sometimes it snapshots so early, it's still not even halfway through the previously explody sector's explosion.

    The rest of the time... well, 90% of the time it works every time.

    Remember the aoe ground change? Effects now start instantly from the ability for things like Asylum? Maybe the circles work like that due to being coded in a similar way, as a "pet" and nail people.

    I play in JP server from europe with 200 ping, so if I do the 12341234 with the 4-1-4-1 movement I have to move in to 4 after the explosion on 3. It works so far.

    That being said, it frustrates me so much that there's nothing I can do for the arrows and balls. Even if two arrows are the same direction back-to-back, the second one will still not register.
    I literally do not move at all in that case and it still fails smh.
    The most I can get is 8 stacks >.<

    As i read before, it's definitively lag related : i have an optical fiber connection, and i don't know, depends on the time of the day, or the weather, or whatever, but sometimes a small move beetween 2 slices just at the explosion time si enough and sometimes... it's not... There's no logic there, it's laggy, it's random.
    And really it is very annoying to have to face to rng lags, or to memorise patterns of colors to move a lot during these phases when you're a caster... This totally ruins the fight sometimes, so well, i'm really disapointed.

    150-200+ ping here. The only way I can ever reliably dodge this mechanic is if I'm on the third explosive tile. Weirdly enough, the Mindjack mechanic is probably the easiest mechanic to deal with during explosive tiles.
