Anyone else use a Fantasia and immediately regret it?

I only changed a character's hairstyle once (from long to short, and don't want to 'magically' change it back), and it took a week of deciding beforehand and a few weeks to stop feeling like it may have been a terrible mistake...

After I got the new HoH hairstyle, my husband convinced me to just go ahead and try it because I liked it so much. I honestly felt like Sprinks lost her identity. That lasted a whole 2 weeks because I changed my gIamour and the hair just didn't work. I do change from the buns to the ponytails at Christmas time due to HORRIBLE clipping with the reindeer antlers, but after 5 years of gathering dust, I finally tossed the fantasias that we got for free. I'm never changing my character to that degree. Ever.

Yes I do, and that's what I used. Was still "changing a character's appearance and then finding it strange" so I figure it counts.

And yes, technically I could have just reverted it at any time but I'd decided beforehand that I wasn't going to. I'm not quite a roleplayer but I do think of my characters as consistent people, so it wasn't just 'switching between hairstyles', he cut his hair short and it wasn't going to be magically reverting unless I really couldn't stand it. And it wasn't that bad, especially since I'd spent so long deciding in the first place, but the "immediate regret" was definitely there! Just needed a few weeks to get over it.

I'm kind of the same way. In all my years of playing (besides a race change way early on to Elezen) I've changed my eyebrows once...and it was a very hard decision xD and I've had a total of 3 hairstyles. My sister on the other hand changes her character left and right.

Just wanted to make sure so no one wastes any munnies!
