Just don't try Bray hard unless your character has good AoE, because your squad are useless at handling the bombs on the final boss. On some occasions they even hit bombs back into the middle.

Got to love a squadron that actively works against you! Perhaps it's some sort of initiation test?

Oh yeah. This was a nightmare. I failed time and time again. Day one I tried as Dark Knight as I was leveling it and was smooth until the last boss. I kept dying and dying to those bombs. I'd spread them, but it was never enough.

Barely on Sunday, I decided to give it another chance since it was the only one without a check mark and wanted to complete it before the new ones. I went in as a Machinest. Again smooth until last boss. It was easier to spread out this time, but my crew would die right after, then me. I would disengage them during the spreading of the bombs and for some reason after I re-engage them, they would stand in front of boss and get killed. It took me a long while dying even after successfully spreading the bombs, but finally did it.

Fortunately for me, I never gave up on my squad and kept leveling them. I'm still trying to get full bars on all stats on all of them. I got 5 completed already, but RNGesus is a cruel bastard. I'm always trying the new unlocked dungeons, so by the time this patch dropped, I had all dungeons complete and over 100 commands done, so I should receive Captain rank as soon as I log in today.

I'm actually rather pleased. I didn't look up in advance what it would involve, so I was expecting something tedious. Instead, as soon as I checked the NPC I found myself eligible for the advancement mission. It's a nice reward for tackling the content when others snubbed it.

I wouldn't mind either of these as a title. I've also been wanting the GC ranks to be titles for a while. I sent my minions out yesterday and even though "the mission is bound to succeed", I have my doubts in them.

You guys asked to be able to solo dungeons with NPCs, you got it. Too bad it came out long after unsynced dungeons came...when you can 1-shot most bosses solo anyway.

So i am kinda mad at myself. When i logged on tuesday morning i saw that i qualified for the mission and was guaranteed to succeed, so i sent my team off immediately. They came back, im a Captain now. Why am i mad? I forgot to read the flavor text on the flagged mission before i sent them out and they can never run it again. Anyone kind enough to share what exactly this "Sapper Strike" or whatever was about?
