One of the healers told him the same thing. RDM said that they can't play with a caster that can't rez, and I was kicked shortly after that.
*Is speechless for a moment*. A RDM that doesn't rez, and blames a BLM for not rezzing? Did the dude assume that just because he, and summoner gets a rez, that all casters get a rez?
Was his rez button broken? As someone who is a healer main, who also playes RDM, I like to compete with the healers to see who can get a rez off first. (that sweet, juicy, dualcast + Rez, it's too satisfying!).
I am always bewildered when I see RDMs that don't rez.
We usually have more mana than we know what to do with, there's no reason not to throw out a few quick rezzes!

I call it Ridorana Madhouse because every time, without fail, at some point it just devolves into total chaos. But with enough patience and determination, we always manage to derp our way to victory. Especially towards the end of Famfrit and Construct, the floor is often littered with corpses cheering the survivors on as they finish off the last couple %

Which just reminded me (and I wish it hadn't ,_,)

There was one time (a monthish or so ago) I had the worst Ridorana experience imaginable. As became obvious very quickly, at least one healer in my Alliance was trolling and I, as RDM, had to take over healing and rezzing for the whole thing... A lot of our players were either first-timers or still learning, judging by the death toll, and even I, despite having done it like a dozen times, apparently had a derpy day. My Anemos Rezmage experience helped... but not a lot.

To spare everyone the painful details (and myself the traumatic flashbacks), when we finally alliance-wiped at Construct 7 because one of the healers had vanished (I didn't even notice at first, which says a lot), the other was doing nothing, I got caught in Dispose and everyone else followed shortly after, nobody in the other two groups wanted to raise us because our trolls were also trolling the alliance chat and making the rest of us look bad... I lost it and threw a passive-aggressive remark at our healer (the one remaining) and immediately regretted it as it seemed to encourage them even more.

Our group wiped on the final boss too and, same story, our troll was making up in verbal abuse for what they lacked in actual healing, and the raid refused to waste raises on us. Somehow they managed to pull it off and I... I didn't even wait for the chests to open, I headed straight for the exit. I felt so bad for what our group put the rest of the raid through, I didn't feel like any of us deserved the loot.

Later, after taking a deep breath and having a cup of tea, I tried to whisper an apology to one of the other alliances' tanks who had been the target of much of our "spokesperson's" harassment but they were on a different server so I couldn't. I felt awful for days following that.

If anyone here was in that raid (and it also haunts your nightmares to this day) please forgive us for that trainwreck. I can't explain what happened but I can assure you that only a couple of people were actually trolling. The rest of us... were suffering as much as everyone else ._.

    Signed,
Red Mage Main Healer of Alliance A

    Yep, these places earn their monikers because of the same element, every time. ^.^;
    This made me legit lul

For me the only differing monikers for Dun Scaith is Done Spoopy and Ridorana is Ridorana Sadhouse.

Edit: At this point, we might as well hold a contest for the best Benedict Cumberbatch naming conventions for the 24man raids

If you're capable of healing DRK back in ShB (or any tanks), then you'll heal EW DRK just fine.

Ouch. Just... ouch. The stupidity is physically painful.

His charging rake probly does kill more people. Id wager more people die to the twist and shout in the third boss then computation too. But those moves are very obvious what you need to do(move out of the way), whereas the ones i mentioned are more confusing for some people.

True, Hashbrowns can still be an issue for some groups. But i dont remember the last time i had a run where he caused repeated wipes. Either none, or one and then we get our act straight. Maybe ive been lucky in this regard.

So I entered the roulette on my Warrior alt to do the dailies for him and got Toto-Rak. Okay, not my favorite, but doable. There's a ninja who's also here from the roulette and two newbies, an arcanist and a conjurer. I tested out a double pull to see if the conjurer could keep me up and they did and the run was going very clean and smooth with me only clearing the direct route, leaving all the side rooms alone.

Clean and smooth... right up to the end. The ninja and I are dancing on the ledge above the boss waiting for the other two to come out of their cutscenes when the arcanist pops out early and promptly leaps over the edge... causing the fight to start and yank us all into the arena.

Yup. Wipe inbound, though we did last to getting the tail down and the conjurer is confused as to why everybody is dead when they finally come out of their cutscene. So we all start the run back to the boss when the arcanist who was the last to release and rez suddenly dies again. And again. And.... again. Somehow they have consistently managed to run down the paths I didn't clear. Finally told them to stay put and led them back to the boss.

Round two with the boss was much better, thanks to having a healer and the very excellent ninja. The arcanist... well... they did fine mechanics wise but I dearly hope that they take home the lesson that if no one else is running forward and someone (like the healer) is still in a cutscene... be patient and stay with the group.

So even though Toto-Rak took much longer than I had anticipated, I had enough time on the clock to queue again. Right into Aurum Vale with again... two newbies. And y'all? That run was flawless. They ate the fruit at the right times, stayed out of the yellow and got out of the way of the AoEs.

    Duty finder... always an adventure!

lol, that poor ninja. I will admit, even now I tend to run down the wrong paths when I'm left to my own devices, but normally I'm entering unsynced for a WT or something, so it's no big deal.

Kudos to you for sticking it out though

Was doing Low Level roulette the other day on my PLD (for my daily cluster of course) and got "The Vault", one of my favorite dungeons in HW. Got grouped with a SCH, NIN and a newbie SMN. The party started off uneventful (was actually some talking for a change) but when we got to the second boss fight with the "I HAVE THE POWER!" guy things went downhill. Was trying to move the boss away from the others but the bastard was charging up for a move so I couldn't move him, and at this point, the Ninja in the party got pissed off at me and was b*tching at me to "move the damn boss".

I politely told that I was trying too but couldn't move him the boss was charging up his attack so I couldn't move him at that point, and I told him to let me do my job and that he does his. At that point, the NIN goes into "b*tchy mode" and starts saying "I would when you do yours!" even after I told him that I couldn't move the boss when he was charging. He proceeds to say "I can tank better". I reply with: "If you think you can tank better then go ahead, but don't expect to get too far".

The dungeon run continues and the Ninja continues to slow down the run, getting in front of me when I'm tanking a group of mobs (like why would you do that? Ninja got no frontal rotation and he didn't bother using True North during the whole run) so I assumed he did so to troll and annoy me.

After a bit, I had enough of his toxicity and attempted a vote kick, which ended up getting rejected, despite the healer being pissed off at the Ninja too. Healer, despite being annoyed wanted to just continue the run and get it over with and I shruggingly agreed with her. Honestly, I would've just left at that point, but it was almost time for the daily reset and I didn't want to leave the healer and the smn hanging.

We got to the final boss fight and thankfully we didn't have any issues. Ninja left immediately after the fight, and me and other 2 guys all agreed he was a d-bag. Got a couple comms and got my run finished before the reset.

The run started so smoothly, but that goes to show that it only takes 1 a--hole to ruin it for everyone else.

    - You were wrong about the theory - healer was right, you better aoe in that particular situation
    - But healer is the one that really screwed up as a more experienced player due to its very poor communication skills.

It is in fact something that I really tried to point out but that people seem to take for a secondary detail : be careful of how you talk to other people !

That healer's very first answer was the beggining of it all : "your're 50+ and you say that?"
Totally unneccessary comment, furthermore, it strongly suggest that Jonnykit "sucks" even more for not understanding that after 50 levels.
That's what started it all. Even if there's was no insults from the healer, just the fact that suggest that the healer was belittling Jonnykit was enough to make thing go sour.

Instead of saying "your're 50+ and you say that?", would the healer have said "when 3+ mobs, spread shot is actually better" I am pretty sure things wouldve turned out differently.

But I noticed many, many people on this forum aren't aware of this, and are talking to strangers on the game as if they were talking to their little bro....
Or may be is it some kind of internet trend... I know that linux people, like their guru, really like to cuss on people for the smallest thing....

Joined Ravana while doing roulettes as SMN the other day. The group wiped hard at the phase transition, because I was probably the only DPS focusing on the butterflies and the group allowed five swords to spawn. At least three people, myself included, left after this. After that, I decided to try again with the roulette and got Thordan, which ended up going significantly smoother.

Lest we forget the Circus Tower, a pain for all ages! Bring your friends and family! Be amazed as Scylla freezes you and everyone tethered to fireballs forgets you exist! Stand in awe as Amon incinerates half the entire group who forget to stand behind frozen players! Witness the thrill of the myriad players who forget to stand in the Float circles to avoid being shaken to a pulp by Xande's earthquake!!

Also, I personally refer to Rabanastre as the Rab-nasty, myself.
