SE: Can we get back skip cutscene in Main Scenarios?

Simply, if you don't want to deal with the cutscenes, don't do it. The benefits of this change outweigh spending a bit of extra time watching cutscenes.

• New players don't get their experience ruined by getting kicked for watching a cutscene. Don't say they can just watch it all through the journal, a lot of new people wouldn't know about it. It also ruins the immersion of running it your first time, makes you feel too rushed to enjoy something new to you, ontop of missing so much story. "Why did we go from fighting the Ultima weapon to everything suddenly being destroyed? And why is Lahabrea suddenly here?"
  
• For people leveling their alts the EXP is beautiful. Get a good 25-75% of a level depending on what run you get. Makes leveling a lot faster, and it's a change of pace from seeing Palace/HoH for a hundred times.
  
• The 50 mendacity is also great. One run, you're 1/9th of the way done for your weekly cap.

These three benefits, for having patience and not having to put in much effort. Just open up youtube/netflix during the cutscenes, or make a sandwich.
