Seems its working as intended based on a reply someone got from the support team.
So yeah, this will be a memorable anniversary alright. xD

If you say so.
Whatever it is, I don't like it ]X
How funny with this being the 5th anniversary, FFXIV actually made me mad lol
The event is supposed to mimic the final days of 1.0 right? The monster spawns in the cities weren't up constantly.
I'd say this works for me. Now all the people complaining about legacy players complaining about earrings can complain. I'm pretty happy with this event now
It's just digital pixels guys, why so upset?

Guess they had to make getting the White Ravens not as free as we thought it would be XD
Can't expect such a small indie company with a minimal budget like SE to get everything right can we?
Seriously though, this is not fun and fun is supposed to come first.
This is the stupidest thing. Why would you have a randomly spawning NPC essential for progress in a time-limited event!?
First they gave the finger to everyone who hated jumping puzzles with the summer event, now this.

1.0 ppl promised me that we would get their hard earned ugly earrings easily and now I have to wait for a random npc?![]()
It's not an issue if there are time windows to when the npc spawns.
But it would really help if we were told when these time windows were.
Try me in Eorzea Kart.
