Good old Trademark_Bot on Twitter just caught this new trademark registration from SE:

A bit earlier than when Stormblood was registered, but given the Rising's clues to Twilight and Darkness, and the fact that we have a ShadowHunter, and that our WoL is going to somehow really mess things up...

What do you think, guys? Next expansion name?

The real question is - we call Stormblood SB. What would we call this one?

The moment I realised that the poems referred to the expansions I thought "5.0 is going to have an edgy name isn't it".

I hope that's not it. Having two expansions that can be shortened to SB is gonna be really confusing.

Why doesn't it sound like the name of an expansion? It seems to go hand in hand with Heavensward and Stormblood, to be honest.

Each time a big company register a trademark, everyone looses their mind to speculate what will it be. Quite fun sometimes.

With such Name, it can perfectly be a new game... Like FFXIV expansion.

I think you say it is not an expansion name due to the fact it refers to "anyone" (aa shadowbringer is "anyone/anything" where stormbloord / heavensward are "nothing" just "picture". (if i am false, you can explain the way you think, i am curious)

Probably, but also, we have 2 expansions, maybe they dont really have "rules" to define titles.
We will probably go to garlemald in next expansion, but nothing say we will go in. probably fight in the borders. to push them more and more. And While we fight Garlemald, Ascians will go more in the fight, to defend their "new Allagan empire" one of them could be the shadowbringer.

The other expansion titles are also more of an abstract concept, while this would refer to a person or thing. (I think this is what Aerlana is meaning as well.)
