It's actually not, eureka is a place to get good gear. Raid is a place to get -the best gear- what they're saying is that you can't expect to do casual content and get raid style gear. Again, reward in this game is directly proportional to effort. You might spend a week or so grinding in eureka, but raid content might take a group weeks or months to clear.

I'm afraid you have confused me with your reply.

I was saying it's not a false analogy. I was saying there are levels of activities within the game with different reward structures each directly proportional to the effort that you invest in them. RP and decoration being pretty much just self fulfilment, crafting money, eureka to get good gear for casual players, raid to get the best kind of gear for the players who like a challenge.

I disagree. The game does not offer roleplaying a reward structures. It does not offer house decorating with reward structures except via contest hosted on the forums. And chatting with the FC does not have a reward structures either. Players engaging in these activities have no expectations of rewards from the game, especially good gear.

If you only want to include activities with a built in reward structure, then let's include low level fates, leveling dungeons, low level primals. Should I be able to do low level fates, run sestasha, and get the same gear you get from doing Eureka?

Only after 200 Sastasha runs. Each.

200 Sastasha runs... I can solo that in about 50 hours. That's still more hours than needed for Eureka. I thought you want the reward to be equal if the time invested is equal? So you want Eureka reward to be equal to Savage raid if the time invested is equal, but you don't want Sestasha reward to be equal to Eureka if the time invested is equal? Why is that? You can't have it both ways lol.
