    She was actually based on a long-standing and still thriving role-play character (from IRC, not an MMO)...but this Soma obviously had to be tweaked a bit from the original Soma just a tad.

    I don't role-play in XIV, but lots of my characters from MMO's come from the IRC stuff I've done in the past and present.

    That's the smartest thing that poster has said so far.
