Yoshi-P is on a horrible idea streak that is severely bogging this game down. I have never been more disappointed in the game and it is really quite sad.

Yoshi-P is on a horrible idea streak that is severely bogging this game down. I have never been more disappointed in the game and it is really quite sad.

That’s assuming it was his decision. I know he’s in charge, but it doesn’t mean it was his personal idea to do this, even if he presumably had to approve it in the end.

My thoughts on this have been building for a while now, but I just feel like he gets blamed personally for anything fans aren’t happy with, when it’s potentially someone else’s actual work that he just approved (without being involved in the details) or even glitches due to a programming error that he would have nothing to do with.

Perhaps it comes with having established himself as the “face of the game”, but I still don’t like to see it. Not because it’s him, but because I don’t like to see any person blamed for something that isn’t actually their fault.

I’m not saying you can’t complain about the issues, you just shouldn’t blame the one person for everything that’s wrong with every part of a large complex game, unless you know he was personally responsible. (Either that, or he also deserves credit for everything that’s right with the game, which is still a lot.)

Get frustrated at “the devs”, but don’t make personal attacks.

That's how it works. Whoever serves as the face of the development team gets blamed for every decision. It's simply assumed that they could be making any decision unilaterally with no constraints, so clearly the only reason it doesn't exist is because they suck at their job/want the game to fail/hate that player or players like that player/whatever other tripe people come up with.
