I'd be fine with making it a challenge to obtain the earrings, but playing a game at an earlier time is no indication of skill. However, it looks as though SE decided against that. It's basically like making the ultimate titles and weapons available in the next summer event.

It wasn't a freebie that all legacy players got though. You had to clear a pretty hard fight to get them.

My main issue with this is that they billed it as a limited time thing. So if the event just hands these out they pretty much went back on what they said.

That's not the point tho. They didn't complete the fights. Why should they have the reward for clearing them?

No, they wouldn't be able to because it was billed as a limited time event which they themselves said. So yes, if they said it was going to be limited and then change their mind later I can see how people would be annoyed. Anyways, I'm withholding judgment in case there is some kind of gimmick in the event.

You didn't answer the question I asked. Let's put feelings aside. Do you believe that if the Nael content from 1.x came out today and even was regulated to the classes and abilities of the time, that only the same 1.x characters would clear it?
