Would PvP destroy the camaraderie of FFXIV

But (more) seriously. It depends on how they implement it and how mature the gamers are. I can play competitive sports against my friends and it forges comaraderie between us. I wish people saw PVP as an alternative to predictable AI (which is enjoyable most of the time) instead of some dark side of the MMO world that they have to choose to be a part of OR not.

Also, I notice this game doesn't have any "rogues" so.... PKing should'nt be an issue ^.^

I can't speak for everyone, but I've found the environment to be significantly more pleasant in-game than here on the forums.
