We can't look at the game like everyone is an experienced healer, bored to their teeth. I run a lot of content on my DRK, and lemme tell ya, a lot of healers still have a learning curve to get there. Most healers I encounter can't even keep their DoT uptime at a decent level on a boss. And you want to give them more complexity?

I will agree that damage is absurdly negligible once over geared, but this is a separate issue, though still relevant in this case. I also agree that DPSing as a healer can be boring when it's all you're doing. It is however quite engaging when you're weaving it between heals WHEN the healing requirement is higher.

I think going forward, the devs have to stop allowing us to be so over geared for synced content. I just got out of roulette with story mode Bismark. One tank got knocked off twice resulting in an equal number of wipes since the sinuwas remained tethered. This tank got knocked off again on the third, so I tanked the second Sinuwa with my SCH. THIS SHOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE!

For our experienced healers, I believe what's needed is a new healer that incorporates these new and more DPS engaging mechanics. In fact, I would say they are ripe for it.
